He also revealed <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how the business intends to maintain high levels of growth going forwards, and how tech plays into that strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are some of the highlights from the transcript\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn the pandemic we were fortunate in that while many other retailers were having a tough time, our growth rate was astronomical as everyone\u2019s work wardrobe became pyjamas and loungewear. \u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor any brand to grow significantly, automation is absolutely critical &#8211; when you go from hundreds to thousands of orders, you want as little interaction with those orders as possible. In that respect, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brightpearl.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brightpearl<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has been instrumental for the growth of our business.\u201d<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cW<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e\u2019ve migrated to a 3PL warehouse which has staff conducting scan in\/scan-out processes &#8211; this made our lives a lot easier. We moved warehouses right before Covid, so it was a stressful period, but the warehouse very quickly received our stock and we were trading as normal within a couple of days. This had a huge impact on the business, both during Covid and through to now.\u201d<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAside from automation, talk to your customers and constantly talk to them, in a way that they find appealing. Offer them small items like a scrunchie that goes with their new robe or a new pattern of a pyjama set they\u2019ve already bought. Always offer more. We spend a good amount of money on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/business\/tools\/ads-manager?content_id=UfkB4YyUm9ccygc&amp;ref=sem_smb&amp;utm_source=GOOGLE&amp;utm_medium=fbsmbsem&amp;utm_campaign=PFX_SEM_G_BusinessAds_UK_EN_Brand_Exact_Desktop&amp;utm_content=Ads_Evaluating&amp;kenid=_k_CjwKCAjwxZqSBhAHEiwASr9n9FLCFcdtZDjCKsyDq4YnzPkTUh_PRM0UoboJX5MyYJQNyLpo3U8feRoC85MQAvD_BwE_k_&amp;utm_term=facebook%20ads&amp;utm_ct=EVG&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwxZqSBhAHEiwASr9n9FLCFcdtZDjCKsyDq4YnzPkTUh_PRM0UoboJX5MyYJQNyLpo3U8feRoC85MQAvD_BwE\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facebook Ads<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/business.instagram.com\/advertising?locale=en_GB\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instagram Ads<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and we\u2019re looking into <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.business-tiktok.com\/gofulltiktok2\/?platform=google&amp;channel=GB-scale-conversion-search--accountlevel-all-Brand-TTBPureBrand---GBfulltiktok-pc--EN-maxconversion-Mix-WM1--921-WM-20211026&amp;attr_source=google&amp;attr_medium=search-ad&amp;attr_adgroup_id=128713109003&amp;attr_term=tiktok%20for%20business&amp;attr_agency=wavemaker&amp;attr_sitesource=&amp;attr_matchtype=e&amp;attr_targetid=kwd-862405345123&amp;attr_adposition=&amp;attr_retarget=n&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwxZqSBhAHEiwASr9n9CsdQB-_JNAJhNxxIwd8rW3Bxo19zhwp_zW9InjJ_Tyjo6lXeK-jERoCrV8QAvD_BwE\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TikTok<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; it\u2019s not something I use myself! But from a business view, it\u2019s something we need to stay on top of.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cGetting so high in the Lightning 50 is such great recognition. We\u2019ve added it to the bottom of our email signatures, that\u2019s how important it is to us &#8211; we want people to see it and hear about it.
