Since then it\u2019s built huge popularity in the premium sector for its country-inspired \u2018investment pieces\u2019, and operates DTC via its Shopify Plus website, as well as wholesale to independent outlets such as Jules B and Millbry Hill.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the podcast, the brand\u2019s <\/span><b>Founder &amp; CEO, Jade Holland Cooper<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, shared tons of unmissable insight into how the brand achieved a whopping 243% growth during 2019\/20 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and ranked 22nd place on the Brightpearl Lightning 50. She also revealed <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how the business plans to maintain high levels of growth going forwards, and how the right tech is integral to their strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are some of the highlights from the transcript\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBritish tailoring is at the heart of the business and why I started in the first place. I noticed women tend to buy a luxury key piece but everything else high street &#8211; so I wanted our products to be at a price point that meant they could wear everything by us.\u201d<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn lockdown I started to personally engage with our customers through Instagram, and they started to really connect with our brand and who we are. I now respond to every single customer message, even if it\u2019s 400 a day.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMy main advice is when your business is growing, don\u2019t be afraid to change up your systems. Every year you\u2019re almost a different business, so your requirements will be different. Something we\u2019ve been good at is picking systems that will grow with us, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brightpearl.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brightpearl<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has been great for that. When you\u2019re multichannel it\u2019s a challenge to find a system that fits with everything, but for five or six years Brightpearl has been a great connector for us and I think it will continue to be.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019re also using great tech for B2B like <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joor.com\/?utm_term=joor&amp;utm_campaign=Brands-+US+%2B+UK+%2B+Germany&amp;utm_source=adwords&amp;utm_medium=ppc&amp;hsa_acc=6304884631&amp;hsa_cam=12671527111&amp;hsa_grp=120490804276&amp;hsa_ad=535799452948&amp;hsa_src=g&amp;hsa_tgt=kwd-326673290801&amp;hsa_kw=joor&amp;hsa_mt=e&amp;hsa_net=adwords&amp;hsa_ver=3&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwxZqSBhAHEiwASr9n9MIemUuBEM-ixeMIDqttReP-9uT6E17VujTZGXaRPHv4BR2ii6-s0BoCy7kQAvD_BwE\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">JOOR<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> [a wholesale management platform], because wholesale has grown dramatically for us. There are further things we\u2019re putting in place for other parts of the business, like more advanced warehouse systems, sample development and sample trackers.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAs you get bigger, all departments need streamlining systems. You need transparency, connectivity and communication across all of your departments so the business flows seamlessly.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019re striving to be bigger and better every year and getting the Lightning 50 recognition along the way is fantastic.
