User:502hsuya

502hsuya (talk · contributions · Statistics · Recent activity · block log · User rights log · uploads · Global account information)

I looked into this image (File:Pong Dam, Himachal Pradesh.jpg) because it was in a upper category and I was trying to organize things. This image was added to en:Pong Dam by User:3502hsuya, but when I checked on Google Maps it was a different dam. If he had taken the photo himself, he wouldn't have made a mistake in the article he used it for. I thought this user was very suspicious, so I then looked into this file (File:View of Indian Institute if Advanced Studies (Rashtrapati Niwas) over Observatory Hill.jpg), and it was a copied and cropped file. Considering the probability, it's likely that all of his other files are also copied. Therefore, I suggest blocking this user and deleting all of his files. Looking at User_talk, several files have already been deleted. --Voncercue (talk) 07:34, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

By the way, that user has an open unblock request that fundamentally denies the reason for their block; any uninvolved admins interested in denying it and deleting their TPA? Whyiseverythingalreadyused (t · c · he/him) 13:24, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I see Taivo did the first part lol Whyiseverythingalreadyused (t · c · he/him) 13:28, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please unblock Rosemeyer2022

[edit]

So far there doesn't seem to have been any good faith effort to actually engage or respond to the user's file move request beyond at him. AGF have not been followed at all. If there is doubt about a file renaming request the proper action is to start a discussion about it, not just casually throwing accusations and insults towards the user as Yann and Taivo have been doing

He might have been edit warring but since Yann went out of his way to avoid listing that as the block reason, that is clearly not the reasoning behind the block--Trade (talk) 14:51, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but no. The last edit is just trolling, and shows that I was right. Yann (talk) 15:03, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
...Which happened after you repeatedly refused to AGF from the user and after Taivo kept casting aspersions towards the user and after Whyiseverythingalreadyused were making trolling comments towards him
Again, the policies about civility is supposed to go both ways. Not just a way for older editors to bash new editors with Trade (talk) 18:51, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
As for the "I was right", not once did you actually actually addressed or engaged with anything he said meaning we have no way of even knowing if what he said was true or not Trade (talk) 18:57, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Rosemeyer2022 is just trolling, and you fell in. Sorry, but I give zero good faith to a user who repeatedly pretends that large-scale biological and chemical warfare research, as well as lethal human experimentation by Unit 731 is epidemic prevention. That's Historical negationism, and it can't be accepted on Commons. Yann (talk) 19:10, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yann's block is perfectly justified. If this user comes back with his disgusting POV pushing he should be blocked indef as an SPA/nothere. Geoffroi 00:32, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have no idea what Trade is thinking. If anything comes out of this report, they need to be reprimanded for assisting in historical negationism. Whyiseverythingalreadyused (t · c · he/him) 06:38, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Request protection "User talk:Rastinition"

[edit]

I have posted a similar report on wikidata:Wikidata:Administrators'_noticeboard#Request_protection_"User_talk:Rastinition", briefly mentioning the key point: "I am being harassed by certain individuals across multiple projects, and they have recently continued the harassment by editing my talk page." Rastinition (talk) 02:15, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

I've blanked 3 examples of this LTA's vandalism on ms.wiki that mentioned your username. Geoffroi 03:41, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
This looks to be ChanComThemPho. He's editing on a mobile isp from the area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Geoffroi 04:02, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
✓ Done. Semi-protected for a year. Taivo (talk) 11:57, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

More NotLessOrEqual socks

[edit]

Similar pattern to previous NotLessOrEqual socks: using multiple burner accounts to upload one or more NASA videos and gifs (some badly AI upscaled, some without specific sources given) and then using a different account (previously burner Wikipedia accounts, now logged-out TAs) to add a batch of them to English Wikipedia articles. The images are added in the same particular style, including overusing animated gifs and swapping them inappropriately into infoboxes.

eg. This edit from a TA added File:Friendship 7 NASA 1962.webm from User:GoingOrbitaI and File:NASA Project Mercury 1958.webm from User:GushyTombs. Three days later another TA added several videos from User:Colimarl (an earlier sock) to a related article, in a similar manner.

The user's past uploads have included copyrighted segments taken without credit from television documentaries, and NASA/military footage upscaled so badly that named people became unrecognisable, so a precautionary delete of all uploads may be appropriate.

Given that they'd used about thirty burner accounts last time, this may also benefit from a checkuser. Belbury (talk) 15:22, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
